Andy Schneider
Care Provider
Master of Divinity, Master of Clinical Mental Health, Licensed Professional Counseling Associate (South Carolina), National Certified Counselor, Society For Human Resource Management—Senior Certified Professional.
Andy is originally from Allentown, PA, but he has also lived in California, Costa Rica, North Carolina, and now South Carolina. Andy has a deep love for people, families, groups, and teams. He was a teacher and coach, then a pastor who enjoyed serving six different congregations in three different states, then a senior HR consultant, who partnered directly with executives of churches and nonprofit ministries, while working towards his counseling licensure.
Andy has a real passion for helping people through life’s toughest challenges. He draws on his many backgrounds as he engages the various aspects of each person’s unique journey. His approach is usually multidimensional and integrative—looking at personal health, relational health, occupational health, spiritual health, and more. Inspired by the words of Irenaeus, "The glory of God is a human being fully alive," he finds true joy in helping individuals and communities reflect the glory of God by embodying Jesus in every area of their lives—even especially during times of trial, hardship, and suffering.
In his spare time, Andy enjoys playing tennis, coaching soccer, following sports, cycling, reading all types of books, savoring coffee and ice cream, and adventuring with his family.
